Job fairs planned in area

Congressman Stephen Fincher has announced a pair of upcoming job fairs that will connect potential employers with job seekers. The Tennessee Small Business Development Corporation and Workforce Development will be on site at the job fairs in Jackson and Covington.
The Jackson job fair will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday at Jackson State Community College, located at 2046 North Parkway. Among the participants already committed to the job fair are UPS, AT&T, West Tennessee Health Care, Domtar Corporation, Modern Woodmen of the World and Labor Finders.
The Covington job fair will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. July 20 at Dyersburg State Community College Jimmy Naifeh Center in Tipton County, located at 3149 Highway 51 South. Among the participants already committed to the job fair are AT&T, Staff Mark, Marriot Memphis, Delfed and Mueller Industries.
