We need your help! We have entered the “Ugly Book Return Contest,” sponsored by Kingsley Library Equipment. The library with the most votes will win a brand new Book Return. Visit http://www.facebook.com/kingsleylibraryequipment/app_343443465714045 and click the “like” button under Sharon Public Library’s book return and that will give us the vote. If you are on Facebook, please pass this along to your friends. When you see our book return, you will know why we need to win this contest.
Our Summer Reading Program continued with a program sponsored by TENNder Care. Marshall Molar entertained the children following the story time with Rhonda Christenson. Marshall Molar allowed the children to practice “Brushing the Tooth.” Each child received an activity book and a new toothbrush.
The Book Buzz met also in the afternoon. The Book Buzz will meet again July 26 at 1:30 p.m. Please stop by and share some of the books you have read and join our book club.
On June 29 we celebrated with our Awards Party! Marley Ellis Farris, Tony Allen and Dalton Morgan won First State Bank gift cards.

When you create your personal account it will let you store your resume in a PDF file that you can access anywhere there is an internet connection.
While you are there, also check out the READS for downloading EBooks and the World Book Encyclopedia.
Remember, we are consistently adding new books and DVDs to our collection, stop by and check some out. We continue to take donations of paperback, hardcover books, DVDs and VHS tapes. We do accept memorials; this is another way to honor your loved one with a book placed in the library.
