TOP SQUAD — South Fulton High School cheerleaders recently attended the NCA Cheerleading Camp at the University of Tennessee at Martin. The squad received the first place trophy for Top Team Performance and first place for Champion Chant. They also received certificates for the SPOT Award for safety in spotting and stunt technique; Technical Excellence in motions, jumps and stunts; the Superior Blue Ribbon and Spirit sticks each day. Team members include (front, from left) Alison Stem, Grace Bruner, Elise Jones, Mikaela Hardy (Individual Leadership Award and All American Recipient), Sara Reams, Liberty Harris, SaraLynn Eaves (All American Recipient), Desiray Sturgeon (All American Recipient), Sierra Replogle, (middle) Carly Reams (All American Recipient), Natalie Adams (All American Nominee), Hilary Whitten (All American Recipient), Annie Mae Jones, Moranda Johns, Linda Kaye Dickerson, Sarah Kate McMinn (Top All American Recipient), Rachel White, McKenzee Pane (All American Nominee) and Alli Ruddle (All American Recipient). NCA camp instructors included (back) Chris, Ragan, Kylee, Brittney and Dakota (no last names available) and SFHS cheer coach Marina Greer. The team is also making preparations to compete in the NCA National Cheerleading Competition in Dallas Jan. 12-13, 2013.
