Fulton First UMC welcomes new pastor

First United Methodist Church in Fulton welcomed the Rev. J. Keith Long as its new pastor Sunday.
He had previously served Celina United Methodist Church from July 2007 until June 2012. Prior to that, he served churches in Elmwood and Monroe.
Long received an associate of arts and science degree in electronics technology from Delaware Technical and Community College in 1981, a bachelor of science degree in industrial technology from Southern Illinois University in 1990 and a master of business administration degree from Wilmington College in Ohio in 1994. He completed a United Methodist Course of Study and a United Methodist Advanced Course of Study from Emory University Candler School of Theology in Georgia in 2009 and 2011.
He is married to Jennifer Long. They have a son, Cole, and a daughter, Megan.
“On behalf of Pastor Long and the members of Fulton First, you are invited to attend worship services at 8:45 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. Sunday,” a spokesman said.
