Miss Ams to wed Hawks on July 14

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Courtney Alexandria Ams and Brian David Hawks, both of Union City, are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Rick and Deborah Ams of Union City. She is the granddaughter of Linda Ams, the late Richard Ams and John and Kay McEwen, all of Union City.
She graduated from Union City High School in 2007 and the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2012, with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin as a registered nurse.
The groom-elect is the son of David and Rhonda Hawks of Union City. He is the grandson of the late Fred Hawks and Evelyn Hawks and the late Ronnie and Mary Wood, all of Union City.
He graduated from UCHS in 2005 and UT Martin in 2010, with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is employed at Pictsweet in Bells as a software engineer.
The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. July 14 at Crown Winery, located at 3638 East Mitchell St./Highway152 in Humboldt.
A reception will follow the ceremony at the winery.
