First Citizens National Bank has been honored with high rankings from American Banker magazine and Seifried and Brew LLC.
In American Banker magazine’ May 2012 edition, First Citizens National Bank placed in the top 200 community banks in the nation for the fifth consecutive year.
The bank was ranked no. 68 based on a three-year average return on equity compiled from institutions with total assets less than $2 billion.
“This is not by accident as return on equity is a core measuring tool and a primary driver of shareholder return,” bank president and CEO Jeff Agee said. “Shareholder return is a major component of our mission statement.”
Seifried and Brew LLC recently announced the bank has been inducted into the 2011 S&B Top 15th Percentile of Community Banks in the United States.
The benchmark for this ranking is based on the Seifried and Brew total risk/return composite ranking for institutions with assets between $100 million and $10 billion.
