New pastor welcomed at McCabe

McCABE WELCOMES NEW PASTOR – McCabe United Methodist Church in Martin is inviting community members to meet its newest pastor, Rev. Cowley and his wife, during a fellowship gathering at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the church. The church will celebrate its 129th anniversary Sunday when Cowley will preach his first service beginning at 11 a.m. Following the worship service, members have planned an anniversary meal in the fellowship hall. McCabe is located at 215 Hyndsver Road, next to Frontier Communications, in Martin. Cowley and his wife will reside at McCabe Church’s parsonage in Landrum Woods.
