Miss Cary to wed Harwell on Saturday

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Allison Cheryl “Alli” Cary of Jackson and Daniel Lee “Dan” Harwell of Brownsville are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mike and Cheryl Cary of Union City. Her grandparents are the late Calvin and Ella Cary Sr. of Troy.
She is a 2010 graduate of Obion County Central High School. She is attending Union University in Jackson, where she is majoring in psychology with plans to graduate in 2014.
While at Union, she has been on the Dean’s List the past two semesters and is president of the Psychology Club.
She is employed as a teacher’s assistant at Pope Elementary School in Jackson.
The groom-elect is the son of Mark and Sylvia Harwell of Brownsville. His grandparents are Wiley and Bonnie Harwell and Richard and Ida Lusk, all of Brownsville.
He is a graduate of Haywood County High School. He graduated in 2008 from Union, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management. In 2010, he received a degree from Union in computer science.
He is employed by Jackson Madison County School System as an IT tech. He is also employed at Jackson Madison County Hospital as their IT tech.
The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. Saturday at Brownsville Baptist Church. Music will begin at 1:30.
A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony in the fellowship hall of the church.
All family and friends are invited to attend.
