Union City police responded to a Union City business Saturday morning in reference to a call of a fight and shots fired in the parking lot of the Blue Marble, located at 1220 East Main St.
Officers were in the process of clearing the parking lot when they told Stephone Laque Rogers, 22, of 335 Sunnyside Drive, Rockford, Ill., to go back into the building. He refused and insisted on arguing with officers, according to the report.
Rogers had a strong odor of alcohol and, due to officers believing he was a danger to himself and others, he was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Obion County Law Enforcement Complex.
