Geraldine “Jerry” Keathley, 89, of Union City died June 8, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Drew Hayes officiating.
Entombment will be at Obion County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church from 1 p.m. until the hour of services on Sunday.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born Dec. 4, 1922, in Sharon, daughter of the late Jones D. and Beatrice (Price) Harkey. She was a 1941 graduate of the former Sharon High School. She was a 1944 graduate of St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing in Birmingham, Ala., where she received her degree to be a registered nurse. She served in the United States Army where she was commissioned as a second lieutenant during World War II. She trained with the Fourth Service Command Basic Training Center at Camp Rucker Alabama and was later assigned to duty at Oliver General Hospital in Augusta, Ga. She worked with the American Red Cross in Jackson, Miss., was the head nurse at the former Obion County General Hospital and was employed at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She had been a member of Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church for over 50 years and was a member of the 51 Couples Class and the S.F. Snider Sunday School class.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy Keathley of Union City; her sister, Martha Jo Johnson of Folsom, La.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
