PHOTOGRAPHICALLY SPEAKING — Northwest Tennessee Photography Club member Roger Hughes recently gave an impromptu talk about the photography exhibit at the Obion County Public Library to Union City Afterschool 4-H’ers. The 4-H’ers had just ended an afternoon of taking photos in the library’s courtyard when they ran into Hughes in the lobby. The Northwest Tennessee Photography Club meets the first Tuesday of each month and will host Donna Hacker of Fulton tonight at 6:30 in the University of Tennessee at Martin library. She will present a photographic review of her recent trip to Italy. The 4-H club meets year-round at 4 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month, generally in the library meeting room. The 4-H club is open to any Union City school system student or any home-schooled student starting in third grade. Published in The Messenger 6.5.12 , , |
