Ramona Joyce (Caldwell) Watson, 78, of Troy died at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City on May 30, 2012.
Services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Troy United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Judd Mowery officiating, being assisted by the Rev. Eddie Mallonee.
Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Saturday at White & Mahon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Tim Jones, Lyn Maloney, Gerald Caldwell, Pete Caldwell, Gaylon Caldwell and Tommy Bullion.
Honorary pallbearers will be W.G. Scott, Jimmie Hart, Harry Johnson, Hoyt Sampson, John Wade and Ned Bigelow.
The family requests memorials be sent to Troy United Methodist Church organ fund.
She was born July 20, 1933, in Obion County, daughter of the late Homer and Gladys (Hall) Caldwell. She married Everett J. Watson April 30, 1950. He died Jan. 5, 2002. She, along with her husband, ran Watson’s Self Serve gas station in Troy from 1975 until her retirement in 1992. She was a member of Troy United Methodist Church and the Senior Couples Sunday School class.
She is survived by two daughters, Ramona Watson of Troy and Debbie Allen and her husband, James, of Union City; two sons and their wives, Mark and Teresa Watson of Troy and Mike and Teresea Watson of Kenton; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, April Haley; three sisters; and a brother.
