George Pollock Posted: Thursday, May 31, 2012 11:46 am The Messenger, May 31, 2012 George Junior Pollock, 59, of Hornbeak died May 31, 2012, at his home. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Living Word Church in Hornbeak, with the Rev. Archie Larry officiating. Burial will follow in Troy’s Terrace Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the church Saturday beginning at 6 p.m. Cryer Funeral Home in Obion is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Greg Pollock, Donald Pollock, Scott Burpo, Timmy Adams, Greg Whitmore and Billy Walley. Honorary pallbearers will be Leroy Keith, Charles Harris, Doyle Larry, Billy Staggs and Kenneth Hutcheson. He was born July 12, 1952, in Caruthersville, Mo., son of the late Bill Pollock and the late Thelma (Henson) Pollock Dean. He was a self-employed carpenter and electrician and a member of Living Word Church. He is survived by his wife, Debby (Ford) Pollock; two sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Kristina Pollock and Ben and Misty Pollock, all of Hornbeak; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and Greg Johnson of Hornbeak and Mandy and Jeff Paschall of Troy; his brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Barbara Pollock of Hornbeak; nine grandchildren, Zakk Johnson of Nashville, Luke Johnson, Braxton Pollock, Landon Pollock, Sophie Johnson and Destinee Pollock, all of Hornbeak, and Parker Southerland, Jackson Southerland and Ella Paschall, all of Troy; three step-grandchildren, Damian Paschall and Dallas Paschall, both of Texas, and Allison Paschall of Greenfield; and his great-grandchild, Zoe Johnson of Nashville. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Charles William Pollock, Jimmy Dale Pollock, Roy Lee Pollock and Donald Lynn Pollock; and his sister, Barbara Pollock.
