| | The Obion County Farmers Market, located behind the Obion County Chamber of Commerce on Church Street, opened for business Tuesday afternoon. Vendor Jerry Sellers of Obion (left) fills a bag of produce for Norman Edgin of Union City. The market is open from 2-4 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday and from 7 a.m.-noon on Saturdays through the summer. Already the farmers market has a nice selection of potatoes, zucchini, beets, beans, onions, cayenne and jalapeno peppers and a few tomatoes. There is also a wide selection of squash at the market. | | | | |
