Clara Nell Nixon Taylor

Clara Nell Nixon Taylor, 65, of Martin died May 24, 2012, at her residence.
Services were held Saturday at Murphy Funeral Home, with Rev. Billy Crowell officiating. Burial was held at East Side Cemetery.
Freddie Barnes, Jeremy Moss, Payton Williams, Stephen Johns, Keith Nixon and Chuck Cissell served as pallbearers. Jayden Johns was honorary pallbearer.
Mrs. Taylor was born Oct. 21, 1946, in McNairy County to Dewey Nixon and Velvie Pounds Nixon.
She was a homemaker and member of Free Will Baptist Church in Adamsville.
Survivors include companion and caregiver, John Bailey of Martin; sons, John David Bailey of Martin and George Bailey of Paris; daughters, Debra (Roney) Capps of Dresden and Terrie (Darren) Williams of Dresden; brother, Virgil Nixon of Adamsville; sister, Martha Ingle of Savannah; six grandchildren, Jessica (Stephen) Johns, Jeremy Moss, Zachary Bailey, Payton Williams, John Austin Bailey, Olivia Bailey; and great-grandchild, Jayden Johns.
