The following cases were disposed of May 21-25 in Obion County General Sessions Court by Judge Jimmy Smith, or fines paid before scheduled court appearances, and were recorded in the dockets in the office of Obion County Circuit Court Clerk Harry Johnson.
The cases listed exclude routine traffic violations, civil cases and cases that are dismissed, unless dismissal is contingent upon costs being paid or other conditions. All others are published, including judicial diversions and deferred cases, without exception.
• Allecia K. Smith — sale of alcohol to a minor, dismissed on payment of costs.
• Steven L. Warner Jr. — leaving the scene of an accident/property damage, dismissed on payment of costs.
• Maria N. Krajecki — false reports/conspiracy, guilty of a lesser charge of false reports/solicitation.
• Steve E. Pannell Jr. — Schedule IV controlled substance, guilty of a lesser charge of simple possession/casual exchange.
• Bennie R. Smith — Schedule II controlled substance, guilty of a lesser charge of simple possession/casual exchange.
• David L. Smith — theft of property ($1,000-$10,000), guilty of a lesser charge of theft (up to $500).
• Melanie Smith — theft of property ($1,000-$10,000), guilty of a lesser charge of theft (up to $500).
• William B. Thompson — theft (up to $500), judicial diversion.
• Ron Garrett Jr. — driving while license suspended, deferred.
• Carolyn C. Wilkins — criminal trespassing, deferred.
• Dawn M. Adams — theft (up to $500), guilty as charged.
• Lynne K. Craig — driving while license suspended, guilty as charged.
• Tara S. Goodman — driving while license suspended, guilty as charged.
• Cynthia R. Pierce — possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, guilty as charged.
• Jerry Still — two counts of theft (up to $500), guilty as charged.
• Travis J. Webb — theft (up to $500), guilty as charged.
• Britt A. Ferguson — possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia and Schedule II controlled substance, waived to the grand jury.
• Justin M. Gwaltney — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Carl R. Readenour — wildlife rules and regulations violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Vivial A. Taylor — driver’s license to be carried and exhibited, registration expired and registration certificate must be carried, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
