Flag donations sought

American Legion Post 20 purchases grave flags to decorate veterans’ graves each year for Memorial Day. This year, 3,600 flags were purchased to decorate 43 cemeteries in Obion County.
Donations to help defray the cost may be mailed to Allen Nohsey, American Legion Commander, P.O. Box 345, Union City, TN 38281.
This 60-year-plus tradition in Obion County is made possible through support for the purchase of flags by area citizens, a spokesman said.
