The Bankers scored seven runs in the top of the sixth inning to break open a tight game.
For CB, Knox Faulkner, Tristan Jernigan and Braydon Boucher all had two hits. Faulkner, Davis Odle and Mike Rutland scored twice, Odle and Jernigan each drove in three runs and Cameron Babb had two RBI. Odle and Jamison Blackwell doubled for the Bankers, who scored seven times in their final at-bat to pull away.
For TP, Dylan Riddle and Chandler McKinney each had a hit as Rutland tossed a complete game two-hitter for CB, striking out seven.
McKinney allowed 10 runs on 11 hits with 11 strikeouts.
E.W. James 11, Coke 3
The Grocers managed just four hits, including a double by Kane Ferguson, but scored 11 runs on six errors, five walks and two hit batters.
An eight-run second inning for the Grocers was key.
Derek Taylor, Kaleb Worrell and Jackson Seals also had a hit for EWJ.
For the Bottlers, Blake Bullion had the only hit.
Blake Berner was the winning pitcher over Brett Woodward.
Comm. Bank 12, Kohler 0
Clint Baker tossed a one-hitter for the Bankers, while his team banged out eight hits and took advantage of five errors.
Jon David Fuzzell and Tristan Jernigan each had two hits, with Fuzzell scoring three runs.
Jernigan, Baker and Knox Faulkner all scored twice, while Jernigan, Baker and Cameron Babb all drove in two runs.
Jacob Hyde had Kohler’s only hit.
Doc Clinic 6, E.W.J. 4
The Grocers had five hits to DC’s two, but EWJ also committed three errors and walked seven.
Kane Ferguson and Austin McReynolds had two hits each, while Colton Carr had DC’s only hit.
