FCNB promotes 6 teammates Posted: Monday, May 21, 2012 9:09 pm First Citizens National Bank CEO and President Jeff Agee recently announced the officer promotion of six of the bank’s teammates. “These teammates are tremendous assets to First Citizens National Bank. They are well respected by peers and are devoted to meeting the needs of our customers. We are proud of each teammate recognized,” Agee said. Gwen Clark, mortgage loan originator, was promoted to assistant vice president and mortgage loan originator. She brings a wealth of banking and lending knowledge and plays a prominent role in the mortgage lending division of First Citizens National Bank in the Tipton and Shelby county markets. She joined the bank in 2006 and previously served as community bank president of the bank’s Atoka Financial Center. She is a Graduate of Barret School of Banking at Christian Brothers University and attended the University of Memphis. Vicky Floyd, assistant vice president and senior accountant, was promoted to vice president and assistant controller. Her expanded knowledge and application of accounting has provided the bank with additional expertise in the accounting and financial reporting functions of the bank’s controller division. She has been with the bank since 2001 and previously served as a credit analyst for the bank’s lending division. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Union University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Scott Foster, assistant vice president and agricultural loan officer, was promoted to vice president and agricultural officer. He began his career with First Citizens in 1999 as an agricultural lender. He graduated from UTM Martin with a cachelor of science degree in agriculture. Jackie Lucas, mortgage loan originator, was promoted to assistant vice president and mortgage loan originator. She joined the bank in January 2009 with more than 31 years of real estate experience. Teresa Thomson, employee benefits assistant with the bank’s investment and trust division, was promoted to assistant vice president in the bank’s trust division. Ms. Thompson received her Certified Retirement Services Professional designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers in 2011. She has been employed in the bank’s trust division for more than six years. She received her bachelor of professional studies from the University of Memphis with a double major in information technology and organizational leadership. Zach Smith, certified financial planner with First Citizens Financial Plus, was promoted to vice president and Investment representative. He joined the firm in 2010 and has a wealth of expertise in planning/consulting-business retirement, estate, personal retirement, employee stock options, fixed income/municipal bonds and cash management. He has a bachelors of science degree in business administration from UTM with a certified financial planning designation from Christian Brothers University. , |
