Former constable arrested in Clarksville

A former constable now residing in Clarksville, was caught in a prostitution sting over the weekend.
According to a news report from Clarksvillenow.com, 49-year-old Joel Griffith, was arrested on Providence Boulevard in Clarksville for allegedly offering undercover female officers money in exchange for sexual acts.
Griffith was charged with patronizing prostitution and was issued a $1,000 bond.
Six men, including Griffith, were arrested for similar charges on Friday and Saturday in Clarksville as a result of the undercover operation. Two of the men arrested, Joseph Adkins and Casey Degroot, face additional charges after officers allegedly uncovered a felony amount of crack-cocaine in their vehicle.
