| Area golfers are about to hit the links for a good cause.
The Little General Northwest Tennessee Fellowship of Christian Athletes Golf Classic is scheduled for June 14 at Pinecrest Country Club in Dyer.
Mike Keith, the “Voice of the Titans,” will headline the event as the guest speaker.
The team sponsorship level is $600 and includes a choice of an 8 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. tee time for the 18-hole scramble.
That fee also includes a Premium Golf Package, a silent auction and the program that features Keith.
Among the items in the golf package are a polo, vest, towel, visor, devotional and golf balls.

The area Fellowship of Christian Athletes has enjoyed tremendous growth in recent years.
The group has increased from 20 active FCA Huddles to over 40, has seen more than 150 students attend a variety of camps, has established Character Clinics in several sports on most campuses, saw its Fields of Faith at UTM impact over 800 students, established new Leadership Boards in many communities and impacts over 2,500 students in northwest Tennessee on average each month.
Support helps the FCA ministry provide many resources, including: Sharing The Victory magazine, huddle kits, FCA bibles and devotionals, coaches and athletes bible studies, the FCA website www.fca.org, the One Way To Play drug- and alcohol-free program, funding for camp scholarships and transportation and the FCA staff.
