James Paul Courtright, 71, of Hollow Rock formerly of Martin, died Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock with Bro. Roger Cooper officiating and Bruceton Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers will be Mike Melton, Brendon Courtright, Jimmy Lee Johnson, Rex Turner Jr., William Terry and Gary Furr.
Courtright was born Sept. 10, 1940, in Martin, son of the late Finis B. and Paralee Curtis Capps Courtright. He was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cynthia Eastman Courtright of Hollow rock; one daughter, Cinda Kay Hampton of Hollow Rock; one son, Paul J. Courtright of Payton, Ohio; one stepson, Wayne Niblock of Philadelphia, Pa.; three grandchildren, Jessica Courtright, Brendon Courtright and Aidan Hampton; two step-grandchildren, Megan Sorensen and Eden Sorensen; and one great-grandchild.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Shelby Jean Moore; and one brother, Finis Fayne Courtright. WCP 5.15.12 |
