Committee to meet

The Obion County Finance Committee will meet Friday at 9 a.m. in the basement conference room at the Obion County Courthouse in Union City.
Items on the agenda include consideration of a promissory note by the City of Union City Industrial Development Board in the amount of $3 million;
• consideration of a PILOT agreement with Williams Sausage Co. Inc. for real property and for personal property;
• consideration of an amendment to the county’s debt management policy;
All committee members are urged to attend the session, which is open to the public, according to a spokesman.
