VPs named at Reelfoot Bank Posted: Monday, May 14, 2012 9:17 pm Two bank officers at Reelfoot Bank in Union City have been promoted to bank vice president — Michelle Bing and Tommy Gurley. Mrs. Bing has been with the local bank since August 1995. She earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee at Martin after graduating from Obion County Central High School in 1995. Mrs. Bing is also a graduate of the Tennessee Bankers Association Southeastern School of Banking as well as the Southeastern School of Commercial Lending. Mrs. Bing lives in Troy with her husband, Eric, and their 3-year-old son, Luke. She serves as a director for the Young Bankers Division of the Tennessee Bankers Association and is very active in the community, currently serving on the Main Street Union City board of directors, Obion County Joint Economic Development Council, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Tennessee’s board of directors and the Adult Leadership Obion County board of directors. Mrs. Bing is also a member of the Union City J’Cettes. Gurley has been with Reelfoot Bank since December 2006. He earned a bachelor of science degree in finance from Arkansas State University in December 2003, and is a graduate of the Southern School of Consumer Credit, the Southeastern School of Commercial Credit and the Southeastern School of Advanced Commercial Lending. Gurley lives in Union City with this wife, Jamie, and their two sons, 3-year-old Cole and 1-year-old Grady. He serves on the United Way of Obion County board of directors and is a member of the Union City Jaycees. Gurley is a member of Crosswind Church. Reelfoot Bank is a locally-owned community bank with the main office and a branch office in Union City and other branches in Hornbeak, Martin and Fulton. , , |
