Virginia Rose Blyeth, 69, of Hornbeak died May 13, 2012, at 4:10 a.m. at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
Graveside services will be noon Wednesday, with the Rev. Darrel Hoffman officiating, at Fremont Cemetery near Union City. Friends may call at White-Ranson Funeral Home from 11 a.m. Wednesday until time to go to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Long, Josh Long, Mike Blyeth, David Lee Tegetoff, Gary Hamilton and Jamie Hamilton.
She was born Dec. 16, 1942, in Obion County, daughter of the late Tommy Alvin and Novella (Roney) Blyeth. She had been employed at the former Hamilton Resort at Reelfoot Lake for 25 years and was a member of Samburg Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by six nieces, two of whom she raised, and their families, Stacie and Dan Belmont and their daughter, Brandy Belmont, all of Kenton, and Grace Novella Blyeth of Hornbeak; four nephews; her great-nephew; and two sisters, Myrtie Jo Long of Union City and Mary Lou Eason of Hornbeak.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Martha Sue Tegetoff.
