Miss Long to wed Scott on Friday

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Mollie Jewel Long of Hornbeak and Jason Lynn Scott of Troy are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Debbie and Greg Campbell of Hornbeak and the late Isham “Ike” Long and his wife Patricia Morris Long of Hornbeak. She is the granddaughter of the late Hurtel Long of Troy, the late Rudy and Jewel Dodd of Lake Station, Ind., Robbie Riley and the late James “Red” Riley of Hornbeak and Neda Jo Campbell of Union City.
She is a 2010 graduate of Obion County Central High School. She is attending the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she is a secondary education/English major.
She is employed at Lakeview Restaurant at Reelfoot Lake.
The groom-elect is the son of Jerry and Betty Scott of Troy. His grandparents are Kenneth and Janette Scott, the late Ruth Ann Scott and Carolyn Pryor, all of Troy, and the late Ralph Pryor.
He is a 2009 graduate of OCCHS. He is enrolled at Tennessee Technology Center in Newbern studying to be a computer support specialist.
He is employed at E.W. James & Sons in Troy.
The couple will wed 5 p.m. Friday at Hornbeak United Methodist Church.
A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony at Ellington Hall at Reelfoot Lake.
All family and friends are invited to attend.
