Gardeners to meet

The Victory Gardeners will be hosting their monthly meeting Thursday at 6 p.m. outdoors at Union City Public Housing’s Demonstration Garden, weather permitting. In the event of rain, the group will meet in the community meeting room at Union City Housing Authority, as usual.  
Those attending are reminded to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a lovely evening, a spokesman said.
Anyone interested in urban gardening is cordially invited to attend, the spokesman added.
