Rally Point slated

Rally Point, an event to connect area veterans with services in their communities, will be held June 5 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the gym at Jackson State Community College, located at 2046 North Parkway in Jackson.
Rally Point is a free event open to all Tennessee veterans and their families. It will feature more than 35 agencies and organizations with information on a number of resources, including VA claim assistance, vocational rehabilitation, education, employment, mental health, housing and business loans.
The event is hosted by the offices of U.S. Sens. Bob Corker and Lamar Alexander, U.S. Congressmen Stephen Fincher and Marsha Blackburn, Madison County Mayor Jimmy Harris, City of Jackson Mayor Jerry Gist, the Tennessee Department of Veterans affairs and JSCC.
