Ricky Joe Dean, 53, of Kenton, formerly of Tiptonville, died May 7, 2012, at his residence.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Tiptonville chapel of Dyersburg Fun-eral Home, with the Rev. Marvin Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Nelson, Richard Brown, Ricky Morgan, Tommy Dean, Jim Donnell and Harvey Donnell. Honorary pallbearers will be Russell Rock and Tyler Jackson.
He was an employee for the City of Kenton.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Dean; his daughter, Linda Nelson of Kenton; his son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Ashia Nelson of Trimble; his sister, Candace Dean of Tiptonville; four brothers, Stanley Dean, Timmy Dean and Eddie Dean, all of Tiptonville, and Jackie Dean of Dresden; and four grandchildren, James Nelson, Gage Challender, Eli Challender and Blayton Nelson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Barbara (Mayfield) Dean; his sister, Jamie Dean; and two brothers, Jimmy Dean and Gary Dean.
