The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Kelsey Potts of Greenfield and Tyler Verdel of Gleason, are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Randy and Cheryl Potts of Greenfield. Her grandparents are Peggy Capps and the late Earl Ray Capps, the late Reba Coleman, all of Greenfield and James Potts of Mayfield, Ky.
She is a 2008 graduate of Greenfield High School. She graduated in 2012 from the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she earned a bachelor of science in psychology.
The groom-elect is the son of Wendell and Alicia Verdell of Gleason. His grandparents are Billy and Virginia Verdell and Lorraine Brockman, all of Gleason and Jim and Martha Arthurs of Dresden.
He is a 2008 graduate of Gleason High School. He graduated in 2012 from Vanderbilt University, where he earned a bachelor of arts in Spanish and child development.
The couple will exchange vows June 2 at 3 p.m. at Beech Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Gleason. Music will begin at 2:30.
A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony in the fellowship hall of the church.
