JOHNSON CITY (AP) — Participants from as far away as the United Kingdom, South Africa, Iran and Germany are at East Tennessee State University through Saturday for the 25th annual Cumberland Conference on Combinatorics, Graph Theory and Computing.
The gathering is sponsored by the National Science Foundation and others. It is open to students, math teachers, researchers and the general public.
Featured speakers will be from the University of Illinois, the University of California-San Diego, the University of Johannesburg and Auburn University.
One session will be a 25-year review of discrete mathematics.
