Westover May Market Magic

MAY MARKET MAGIC — Westover Center for the Arts will sponsor May Market Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the site of the former Westover School on Florida Avenue in Union City. Among the items that will be on display is this piece, “Wild Horses,” by local artist “Moonman” Bob Thomas of Union City, which won Best of Show in the recent Westover Animal Art Show. Inviting the public to attend this event are (clockwise, from bottom left) Emily Elliston, Linda St. Clair, Marti Doss and LaVaughn Cummings. The community is invited to stop by and see art from many vendors and purchase a variety of offerings from paintings, jewelry, wood, ceramics and more. Admission is free, but donations will be gratefully accepted to assist in restoration efforts for the organization, a spokesman said.
