| The class project for this year’s Adult Leadership Obion County class was setting up a wireless Internet connection in Kiwanis Park in downtown Union City. Checking out the Wi-Fi hot spot earlier this week were (from left) Kiwanians Christie Beeler and Seth Rhenberg, leadership class members John Fry and Ross Clark, with leadership program director Phyllis Rauchle. The Wi-Fi hot spot will officially be activated for the public at the Union City Kiwanis Club’s Burgers in the Park event, scheduled for May 17. Tickets for the Burgers in the Park are available from any local Kiwanis Club member for $5. The Wi-Fi hot spot will be available to the public at no charge through the Adult Leadership Obion County program. | | | |
