The Let’s Get It Together column serves as a forum for school reunion information. Classes or schools wishing to share information about an upcoming reunion or the planning sessions related to reunions or needing help in locating class members for a reunion may contact Glenda Caudle by phone at 885-0744 during weekdays from 7:30 a.m.-noon; by email at glendacaudle @ucmessenger.com or by fax at 885-0782 with information or in person at the newspaper office at 613 East Jackson St. in Union City. There is no charge for this one time service. Please include the name and daytime phone number of the person submitting the information.
Miles High School Reunion, set for July 5-7 in Union City, is extending the deadline for registration. The new deadline is May 15. After that date, no reservations will be accepted, a spokesman said, and money will not be accepted at the door for the banquet or any other event.
The registration fee is $50.
The registration deadline is necessary so organizers can plan effectively for the popular event. All Miles School alumni and former students of the school are invited to attend, a spokesman said.
