The following news was received too late to appear on Thursday’s Religion Page:
“Let the Fire Fall Revival Conference” is planned for 6:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday at South Fulton Baptist Church, located at 1500 Broadway.
Dr. James Merritt of Cross Pointe Church in Duluth, Ga., will speak Monday. Dr. Ken Whitten of Idlewild Baptist Church in Lutz, Fla., will speak Tuesday and Dr. Bobby Welch of the executive board of the Tennessee Baptist Association in Nashville will bring the message Wednesday.
Dr. Ron Cox and the congregation invite the community to attend.
Mt. Olive Baptist Church and the Mt. Olive Cemetery Association will host Decoration Day Sunday at the site of the church and cemetery in the Crystal community two miles off Lake Road. Coffee, juice and doughnuts will be served at 9:30 a.m. in the family life center and Sunday school will begin at 10. Jamie Worrell will provide special music and the Rev. Steve Carr will bring the Word at the 11 a.m. worship service. A fellowship meal will follow and the cemetery association meeting will begin at 1:30.
The community is invited to attend.
