Volunteers are needed to set up the Obion County Right to Life’s display of the “Cemetery of Innocence.” Those willing to help are asked to meet at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on East Reelfoot Avenue in Union City at 9 a.m. Saturday. The display will remain there for two weeks and on May 19 will be moved to a new location.
The next Obion County Right to Life meeting will be 7 p.m. May 22 at the Obion County Museum on Edwards Street in Union City.
Anyone interested in standing up for life is encouraged to come and take part in the effort to set up the displays, a spokesman said, adding that participants are encouraged to bring three- to four-pound hammers to assist in the work. Extra hammers will be available.
