Stephen Dwayne Poole, 37, of Hornbeak was given a $100,000 bond Thursday afternoon by Obion County General Sessions Judge Jimmy Smith after Poole was arrested earlier this week and charged with five counts of burglary and five counts of theft over $1,000.
Poole was arraigned on his charges Thursday afternoon. His preliminary court appearance was set for May 10 in General Sessions Court.
The Obion County Sheriff’s Department is continuing to investigate its case against five other burglary suspects, who were actually arrested on meth-related charges Wednesday night in Samburg. The five suspects were expected to be arraigned at 1 p.m. today before Judge Smith after deputies discovered an active meth lab while they were serving a search warrant in Samburg.
Burglary, theft and arson charges are expected to be added to the drug charges, according to Chief Deputy Kent Treece.
