Cancer Care Center presents scholarship to OCCHS senior

Obion County Central High School senior Will Horton is among the recipients of the 2012 college scholarships presented by Cancer Care Centers of Jackson, Dyersburg, Paris and Union City.
Twelve scholarships were awarded throughout West Tennessee.
Cancer Care Center recently hosted a banquet at the Jackson Country Club to honor this year’s scholarship recipients.
In addition to Horton, the other scholarship recipients are Kayla Brockmeyer of Northside High School in Jackson; Zoe Sudbury of Madison Academic High School in Jackson; Andrew Massie of Dyer County High School in Newbern; Christopher Holmes and Autumn Stearnes, both of Henry County High School in Paris; Danielle Harvey of Central High School in Bolivar; Holly Henson of McNairy Central High School in Selmer; Elizabeth Hugueley of Halls High School; Kendra Luketic of Stewart County High School in Dover; Hannah Moore of Gibson County High School in Dyer; and Ashley Wyman of Middleton High School.
“Cancer Care Center is committed to providing state-of-the-art cancer treatment technologies to patients throughout West Tennessee. We also strongly support the educational advancement of area youth,” said Dr. William D. Permenter Jr., radiation oncologist of Cancer Care Center.
