The event will be held May 19 in the Boling University Center.

The Miss competition is open to women ages 18 to 26; the teen category is for women ages 15 to 19; the Junior Teen is for ages 10 to 14; and the Little Miss is for ages 6 to 9.

Winners of the Miss and Teen division will advance to the national competition to be held in Charlotte, N.C. Aug. 6-8.
Since its inception in 2001, the Miss Earth pageant is the first and only pageant solely dedicated to the protection and preservation of our environment. Known as “Beauties for a Cause,” the Miss Earth system has become one of the largest international pageants in the world. The pageant seeks to showcase not only the beauty of its participants, but to open the eyes and the hearts of the world to help support the promotion of nature and the environment.
The reigning Miss Teen Earth, Carlie Vowell of Martin, will serve as special guest for the day event.
The final on-stage competition is open to the public and will begin at 6 p.m. in the Watkins Auditorium in the Boling University Center.
Tickets will be available at the door one hour prior to the event.
Pre-registration Monday is required for all age categories and may be completed at www.tnearthpageant.com.
