Mr. and Mrs. James E. Sanders to renew vows

Mr. and Mrs. James E. Sanders of Sun City, Calif., will renew their wedding vows for their 65th wedding anniversary on May 12 at 2 p.m. at Imani Temple of Temecula Christian Community Center Church of God in Christ in Temecula, Calif. The Rev. James E. Mason of California will officiate. He married the former Katherine Holder April 17, 1947, in Union City. Sanders is the son of the late Rev. Dalton and Bertha Sanders of Union City and was a handyman before his retirement. She is the daughter of the late Samuel and Virginia Holder of California, formerly of Union City. She had worked as a nurse’s aide at the former Obion County General Hospital and had been a school cafeteria employee in Obion County. They have three children, James Sanders Jr., Jacqueline Woingust and Felicia Harris, all of California; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. All friends and family are invited to attend the celebration.
