Group holds first meeting

New Life for Survivors recently held its first meeting with 13 in attendance.
The meeting was opened with prayer. After a time of sharing and an introduction
of the program, the meeting was closed with a sing-a-long with Christy Lane and
“One Day at a Time”
The next meeting will be May 12th, from 10 a.m. until noon at Broadway Baptist
Church fellowship hall. The guest will be James Bradberry, attorney. He will
be sharing with the group some of the legal struggles faced by survivors. Following will be a time of
question and answer and fellowship.
On May 8 from 6:30-7:30 p.m., the group will begin a study of the book “Seven Choices: Finding Daylight After Loss Shatters Your World,” by Elizabeth
Neeld. This study will be led by Wanda Vowell. Published in The WCP 5.1.12
