GOP meet slated

The Obion County Republican Party will meet 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Catfish Galley on Marshall Avenue in Union City. Those planning to eat are asked to be present by 6 p.m. to place their food orders. State Senate District 24 GOP primary candidate Danny Jowers will be the speaker.
Obion County GOP meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at the restaurant and welcome all who are interested to the family-friendly group, a spokesman said.
