The following cases were disposed of April 23-27 in Obion County General Sessions Court by Judge Jimmy Smith, or fines paid before scheduled court appearances, and were recorded in the dockets in the office of Obion County Circuit Court Clerk Harry Johnson.
The cases listed exclude routine traffic violations, civil cases and cases that are dismissed, unless dismissal is contingent upon costs being paid or other conditions. All others are published, including judicial diversions and deferred cases, without exception.
• Brad J. Addison — second offense driving under the influence, guilty of a lesser charge of first offense DUI.
• Robert M. Lawrence — obtaining, possessing, buying or using personal identification of another, guilty of a lesser charge of identity theft/solicitation.
• Gina L. Hatt — initiation of process to result in manufacturing of meth and possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, bound over to the grand jury.
• Dereck R. Barnes — theft of property ($500-$1,000), judicial diversion on amended charge of theft (up to $500).
• Joel F. Garmon — simple possession/casual exchange, judicial diversion.
• Amber M. Powell — theft of merchandise/shoplifting, judicial diversion.
• Courtland V. Sivadon — theft (up to $500), judicial diversion.
• Clint M. Bryant — first offense driving under the influence, deferred on amended charge of underage driving while impaired (18-20).
• Timothy S. Ellis — driving while license revoked, deferred.
• Daniel D. Flora — unlawful possession of a weapon, deferred.
• Zachary M. Schmitz — driving while license suspended, deferred.
• Jessica Ashley — two counts of theft of merchandise/shoplifting, guilty as charged.
• Patrick Ceiga — domestic assault, guilty as charged.
• Christopher Gerald Copeland — public intoxication, guilty as charged.
• Lori A. Edwards — two counts of worthless check (up to $500), guilty as charged.
• Tristian M. Ezell — theft of merchandise (shoplifting), guilty as charged.
• Martha R. Golden — theft (up to $500), guilty as charged.
• Patrick Cody Horst — public intoxication, guilty as charged.
• Saul L. Olguin — driving without a license, guilty as charged.
• Samuel F. Shaw — first offense driving under the influence, guilty as charged.
• Mark Stacey Cobb — third offense driving under the influence and misdemeanor implied consent, waived to the grand jury.
• Donald J. Alexander — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Jarrod L. Amos — driver to exercise due care, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Christine Clark — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• James D. Harwell — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Corena D. Jackson — sound amplification system in motor vehicle, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Lillie M. Nale — driver to exercise due care, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Kevon L. Pierce — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Jimi Jo Pride-Flowers — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Bobby J. Simpson — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
