Mary Montgomery, 80, of Obion County died April 30, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Kinsey officiating and burial following in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.
She was born Dec. 30, 1931, in Plymouth, Mich., daughter of the late Violet (St. Clair) Howard. She was the widow of Duke Montgomery, who died May 28, 1997, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Union City. She had been employed at Nelson’s Auto in Troy for 18 years prior to her retirement.
She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Wisdom of Troy and Terrie Bruggeman of South Fulton; her son, Duke Montgomery of Hornbeak; two sisters; two brothers; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Montgomery; two sons, Randall Montgomery and Jeff Montgomery; and several sisters and brothers.
