The Obion County Chapter of the Tennessee Right to Life will meet this evening at 7 at the Obion County Museum on Edwards Street in Union City.
A second meeting set for 7 p.m. Monday at the Obion County Public Library at 1221 East Reelfoot Ave. in Union City will feature Joi Wassail, who works with a “sister” organization supporting life, “Decisions, Choices, & Options,” and will be sharing the message she usually gives student groups.
Both meetings are open to the public.
Local members of the organization are asking area residents to pray for the cause of preserving life at every stage.
Those interested in supporting the work of the organization may contact the group at P.O. Box 55, Union City, TN 38281 or attend one of the meetings, the spokesman said.
Right to Life is a non-profit organization with an education fund designated for the local county chapter. This account is set up at the state office to assist the local group in providing educational materials and assistance to Obion County.
Donations can be made via this fund to receive full tax credit. Those interested may contact Brian Harris at the state office in Nashville at 1-877-CHOOSE LIFE or (615) 298-5433 or www.tnrtl.org.
TN Choose Life license plates are on sale at the Obion County Courthouse.
