MHA golf tourney is Thursday
Martin Housing Authority will be holding its 5th annual four-person scramble MHA Golf Tournament Thursday at Persimmon Hills Golf Course in Sharon.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., with tee time beginning at 8:30.
A rain out date will be held May 10, with lunch at 11:30 a.m. and tee time at 12:30 p.m.
The cost is $50 per player and includes golf cart, awards and lunch. A mulligan and a throw can be purchased for $5 each on the day of tournament.
This event will benefit after-school and summer programs for low-income children. Each player will receive a door prize. Prizes will be awarded for the first place team. Additional prizes include longest drive hole, closest to the pin hole and hole-in-one contest.
