‘T-Boy’ Pierce

Samuel Thomas “T-Boy” Pierce 91, of Kenton died April 21, 2012.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Kenton, with the Rev. John Varden officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Methodist Church Cemetery near Kenton.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was born Jan. 1, 1921, in Obion County, son of the late Walter and Mamie Pierce. He was a retired farmer and land owner and a member of Union Grove United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his children, Terry Pierce, Timmy Pierce, Loma Emerson, Sheran Wright and Sue Williams; his sister, Iris Anelle; his brother, Eugene Pierce; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen Sue Pierce; his son, Tommy Pierce; his granddaughter, Lauren Beth Williams; his parents, Walter Jackson and Mamie (Davidson) Pierce; his brother, Shirley Pierce, and two sisters, Eva Finch and Neva Yarbrough.
He will truly be missed by his family and friends.
