The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Charles and Rita Glover of Martin, and Patricia Mansfield and the late Rodney Wingo of Martin. She is a graduate of Westview High School and she graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance. She is employed by the Shelby County School system as the head cheerleading coach of Schilling Farms Middle School in Collierville. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in education at the University of Tennessee at Martin. The groom-elect is the son of Johnny and Connie Ponder of Collierville. He is the grandson of Marie Robertson and the late Wyndell Robertson of New Boston, Texas, and the late Henry and Lucille Ponder of New Boston, Texas. He is a graduate of Collierville High School and he graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He is employed as an accounts payable clerk at Regions Insurance in Memphis. The couple will exchange vows June 2 at The Pink Palace in Memphis. The music will begin approximately at 5:30 p.m., with the ceremony following at 6. All friends and family are invited to attend. Only out-of-town invitations will be sent.
