May Arts Market set

Westover Center for the Arts is sponsoring May Arts Market inside the former school at 314 West Florida Ave. in Union City May 5 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
The community is invited to stop by and see art from many vendors and purchase a variety of offerings from paintings, jewelry, wood, ceramics and more.
Admission is free, but donations will be gratefully accepted to assist in restoration efforts for the organization, a spokesman said.
Other artists who would like to take part in the event are reminded to contact Marti Doss at 796-0456 or at adelledoss@gmail.com to obtain an application.
In other Westover news, a Tea and Flowers Art Show is planned for June 9. More information will be available closer to the date, a spokesman said.
