Jerry Lee Carroll, 57, of Woodland Mills died 12:30 p.m. April 18, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. The Rev. Eddie Mallonee will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Shane Bowling, Roger Rice, Scott McAdoo, Don Bass, Kris Woods and Rocky Woods. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. David W. Parks and James E. Bowling.
He was born Oct. 15, 1954, in Tiptonville, son of the late Ralph Evasti and Rosalee (Glass) Carroll. He had been employed at Kohler as a supervisor for 32 years and had worked at the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City.
He is survived by his wife, Pam (Bass) Carroll, whom he married Sept. 3, 2004; his daughter and son-in-law, Kristy Carroll-Grimes and Torrey Grimes of Nashville; his stepson, Joe Busby of Union City; his sister, Vera Mae Shelton of Gleason; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph E. Carroll Jr. and Barbara Carroll of Kenton and Charles David and Evelyn Carroll of Woodland Mills; his grandson, Jaxon Busby of Union City; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Bertie Bowling of Union City; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Don and Joyce Bass of Florida, Rainey and Roger Pulley of Oklahoma and Dr. David and Shelia Parks, Jeanie and Roger Rice and Paula and Scott McAdoo, all of Union City, and Shane and Nicole Bowling of Friendship; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte V. Carroll; and his brother, Jimmy Wayne Carroll.
